Lean-Agile Learning Leader

Since April 2018, I have been working on the Learning and Certification team as a senior instructional designer at Scaled Agile, Inc., provider of the Scaled Agile Framework.

During this time my mindset toward managing learning projects (a verboten word in SAFe, I know šŸ™‚ ) has shifted dramatically.

Most learning practitioners know and use the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) process and, if attempting to be more Agile, use SAM (Successive Approximation Model).

During my time at SAI, using SAFe to manage the curriculum and courses I’ve been responsible for, I’ve had some big a-ha! moments on how to be truly Lean and Agile as an instructional designer and curriculum architect.

Collaboration is at the root of successful Agile project management in curriculum and course design and management.

“Coming together is a beginning. Keeping together is progress. Working together is success.”
